"NON DUCOR DUCO" (translation from Latin, — ‘I am not being led, I lead’) is a project exploring the power of calligraphy. The concept is to write one phrase every day using a large piece of paper with a giant brush. 30 days of such practice, in one gallery space. Endless repetitions emphasise the message, enhancing the value of the text. The project calls to focus attention on the key things in chaotic and aggressive flow of information in our times. In this video you can see the whole timeline, starting from practice in small studio and moving into a Typa Gallery space, from the first trial pieces to large glued sizes formed the entire 85 square meters installation.
